Hello, I find it difficult to find girls who are compatible in terms of personality, intelligence, and general outlook on life. I'm atheistic and, though I was born an idealist, my experiences have guided me toward filling the role of pragmatist, a bit of a "firey" one. Most people with a personality close to mine tend to toward the "left" and like to dwell on spirituality, religiosity, superstition et al., I know this because I have felt the draw myself. Even writing this is upsetting because I feel grossly overused metaphors like "firey" and "left" when speaking of my natural inclinations. I'm like a remodeled train car and it feels GREAT, I've been atheistic and libertarian since before I was 16, and I'm 25 now. I know that I was built to first class passengers, possibly even dignitaries, but I'm so much happier being a freight car. Does this make sense to anyone? I can get into heated debates and not take it personally, in fact, I'd likely want to cuddle afterward. If I were to live my life with someone, they would also need this quality. The woman must be intellectual, be able to debate, and she must to read. I hate TV and I don't drink. In fact, I was fired from a job because I told the boss to fuck off after he wouldn't stop asking me to have another drink at a company party. Socializing is one thing but I cannot stand giving my control over to a substance. I have no problem with people drinking and though I don't use, I think they should be legalized and sold at cost. I quit smoking months ago. I'm trying to improve myself all of the time and I suppose this is my idealist side coming out. So far, I can't find women at bars, churches, or (most of the time) even my college. These are the usual spots, right? The internet is ok but very general, non-specific, and I live in a town of roughly 60, outside of Vegas, what good is a woman 2, away? Now here is the question I pose, how and WHERE do I find a woman who is compatible? How can I determine the ones that might be right for me? Any suggestions would be appreciated because I'm seriously lost here, I have no ideas where to begin. Even a couple jokes wouldn't hurt, it might even stimulate other ideas for others or myself.
