A Country Man Is A Lonely Man
Well, the title of this ad does seem to fit the bill when it comes to finding something worthwhile around here. You see, I'm what we "from the country" but before we get into any manner of details, I should just explain the basics. So, it's pretty much safe to say that quite a few people around here come from the country. However, only a handful are actually "from the country" and yes, there's a very significant amount of difference between the two. A person who comes from the country is just that...a given individual who's childhood wasn't within any city limits. Because of such, he or she might have splashed around in a few mud puddles or climbed a tree or two but that's about it 'cause once that lil' grasshopper was introduced to the big ol' city, you really couldn't tell much of a difference between them and somebody that was born to be a city slicker. And it shows 'cause when you come across one of these people that come from the country, they like to try and impress you with their vast knowledge of armchair woodsmanship. As a matter of fact, I just recently learned from one of these fine individuals that the North Star is part of the Big Dipper and the study of such celestial matters is ed "astrology."
But on the other hand of this whole point that I'm trying to make, we have that handful of people who not only come from the country, they are just plain "from the country." You can blindfold 'em and they'll still show you which way is north. You can give them a can of Coke with a Hershey's and they will make fire. Actually, we're already pretty familiar with the good ol' hand drill method but I figured that I'd just toss something out there that not very many people know about for greater effect. But as I was saying, you can even give them a plain ol' rock and they will create the tools that our entire existence as we know it was founded on. Food will be on the table, a roof will be overhead, and God will become your best friend for allowing you to enjoy another fine day within his grand design. We're not much for complaining about things 'cause words never stop a snake from biting you on the ass and when it comes to earning our keep as a respectable member of society, well, a sound conscience never lets us have it any other way.
So, to bring this lil' bit of an education to a close, I just figured that I'd put this information out there and see what might become of it because I would most certainly enjoy hearing from a good woman that will appreciate a man of high caliber. And no, I don't really talk as fancifully as I may come off as being in this ad; I'm just doing as much for the additional southern effect that it provides. But regardless, I'm always as easy to find as a simple message and you'd have my word if I were to say that every response will be given a response.
