My husband grew up around substance. Pill junkies and alcoholics. His uncle got him high at the age of nine. Drinking and getting high was unfortunately encouraged by his family. It took years after becoming an adult to deal with the substance issues. Except they were not completely taken care of because he never learned to say no. So we got married and shortly after his boss would ask do you want to go to the bar for a drink? He would say no and it was oh come on its just one drink. Off to the bar they would go the drinking got out of hand and I had enough. I told him I'm not going to raise my around this shit. There be no junkies in our house. You need counseling and you need to stay away from yor boos outside of work. My husband and his stupid boss almost trashed our marriage. That is why I Recommend counseling there be underlying reasons as to why he drinks so much around his friends. Any friend that is going to influence bad decisions is not a friend.
