6 month road trip this Spring
I'll be celebrating my 50th birthday in November, my only kiddo is flying the and I am planning on being a "Gypsy" beginning in the spring and continuing on until I find ' ' or until the snow flies, whichever comes first. I am looking for someone who his financially able to take 6 months or so off from the daily, to embark on this adventure. I am fun, funny, intelligent, etc. I love to travel, not afraid to camp or to " it". I will start out from STL, with a stop in Colorado to see family for a day or two, then head west. I will start in California, go up the Pacific Coast Highway with my destination being British Columbia. First let me say that writing an ad like this is way harder than I first imagined it would be. Its not easy putting into words the information that you think someone would want to know and at the same time trying to make an impression that would attract the attention of someone I would want to meet but here it goes....
I am a single white male, 6ft, 185, professional, average to nice looking, normal guy. I am recently divorced. I don't hate or distrust women because of my divorce but I am not crazy about the idea of jumping into a serious relationship anytime soon. I have a steady job that I have had for some time and its one that I enjoy. I have my own place and live alone, consider myself very stable and somewhat conservative. I don't smoke, I don't use drugs, consider myself very independent and down to earth. I have a wide variety of interests and think I have a pretty good sense of humor.
As I said before I am not interested in jumping into a serious relationship. At the same time I find it extremely hard to date when you tell someone that up front. It appears that anyone who is single is desperate to get into a relationship to the point that the relationship is more important than being happy or even knowing who you are dating. My point is that I have dated, I have tried to be honest and it hasn't really worked out so well for me as of yet. Thus this ad....if that helps explain anything. So I am looking for a friends with benefits type situation. I would like to find someone that I enjoy being around, talking to, texting or whatever.....maybe someone who would like to get together once a week for a beer and to hang out. I will be honest and say that while I do want to be friends, to like each others company and have things to talk about, I would also want to have a sexual attraction and chemistry....thus the benefits part of FWB.
